They work really well and they can be cleaned off for use again. You dont want to file your nails perfectly smooth if you are applying nail polish since the polish needs something to grab onto. I love the curve of the file which makes them easier to use. These work really well and I am pleased with the price.

09-06-2025I use these files primarily for crafting, but they also work well on my nails. I use these to file the edges of painted wood & also decoupaged items. They work great for distressing. They are very sturdy and the grit seems to last forever. I really like having 2 different grit levels on 1 file. I would recommend them.
