New to the sim racing thing so I didnt want to spend thousands on it. Found this set up and figured Id give it a go. Honestly, Ive never tried a thousand dollar sim racing wheel....but this will do for me. Im sure the nicer ones feel great but for an enthusiast looking to get into it, this is perfect. Force feedback feels solid but nowhere near wrist breaking like I hear some of the real deal ones are. Mounting on a desk is perfectly adequate, although I did get a mount for it so I can keep it next to my desk and have it all be one unit. Eventually plan on picking up the H-Shifter attachment but the paddle shifters are great. If youre looking get more immersed into your racing games and dont know where to start...this is the way to go..

I ordered and purchased Logitech G29 streering wheel on Amazon from Logitech on April 20th 2018.

I was on the annoyed list as a discontented G27 owner, but finally just decided to sell my old setup. I purchased the G29 + Shifter and a new open wheeler chair. I wish I just accepted G27 dead for the PS 4 and did this sooner, I absolutely love this rig. I know it is not perfect.. none of them are even if you spent thousands.. which you easily can.. I think wheel is phenomenal, solid and great bang for the buck... the new halleffect sensors are well worth it in my humble opinion, no dust issues like optical s found in G27. I will say shifter pattern is a little hard to hit 3rd gear and a little plasticy feeling (that can be fixed) and although rubber damper on brake spring is a great improvement, I will be installing my GTEYE spring set when warranty runs out. There are better rigs and there are worse, but for me I loved my G27 and feel this is a worthy albeit pricey successor. If it is as dependable as my G27 I will be very happy, so far so good. I might look into a club sport 1.5 shiftier as an alternative to Driving force unit in future. I did already fire up die cut machine and just had to make a decal for wheel.. lol

Good setup, but really Logitech, could you not provide better instructions on use of wheel and integration with PS4, which sometimes does not reconize G29 and defaults to wireless controllers. Help us, get driving sooner, by finalizing the details

My purpose was buying this for my PC for the new Crew 2 game release until I found out that the PC version doesnt support the FFB on it but only for the PS4 version. I bought and play on Dirt 4 for the PC and it is awesome. FFB work great and the Wheel/Pad work great. So far, I have no problem using it on PC. Havent test it out on my PS4 since I have no racing game for my PS4.
