Loose Mineral Eye color

Great quality, not quite as dark as I thought. Makes my eyes seem pretty bright. I might not wear it as often as I hoped, but it is a good quality and great for sensitive skin.

Color is fantastic. Its a mix between brown and plum. Subtle enough for daytime use but can be amped up for a more dramatic nighttime look.

I ordered the grace color, and it was as I expected. A neutral brown color with a reddish tinge and a dash of sparkle. It goes on well and blends in easily. My eyes have not been irritated by this eye shadow, and it seems to live up to what we expect of mineral products. Noticeable, but not over the top, and it lasts all day. Liked it so much I ordered a blue as well.

I am in my upper fifties, so bright eye colors are not an attractive option for me! This soft pink is a light color that I use as a neutral shadow that brightens up my upper lids (which tends to disappear with darker & taupe colors.) I use the darker colors (with a light touch) in the crease of my lid. Then I accent my eyes with a little smidgeon of white in both corners of my eyes and a dot in the middle of the lid & blend - it makes my eyes sparkle & the whites look a little brighter. I find that using a subtle shade of eyeliner in teal, deep forest green or charcoal are just the right amount of color to bring out my hazel eyes and looks nice with my silver hair! At this age, less is more - Really!

Having experience with websites I have created myself I know the difficulty in depicting true color. I have loved bare essentials since the beginning......the only reason I did not love it is because it has more of a gold base than what I expected from the picture. My skin coloring has changed since getting older and have more of a silver tone base now. So I was not really happy with the gold coloring.

The color is good. The only problem is how it comes out of the brush and onto my face, which I then have to wash off before applying the rest of my makeup. It does wear well and I like the brand.

This shadow is amazing. It goes on easy and does not crease. Lasts all day. This is the perfect color for fair complexions like mine because it completely disguises the pink/purple/blue of older eyelids. Take YEARS off your face with a perfectly natural look. I also use this as an all over base on my eyelids when I want to wear a more dramatic eye and I find that it works beautifully. To instantly brighten your eyes--you need this!
