> 3 dayJust a word of advice for my fellow bird lovers out there: Mirrors and birds do not mix. Most birds will start to bond with their reflection and will often times view it as their mate and as a result youll have a host of problems and heartache when your bird begins to aggressively reject your company. Eventually they start to be so engrossed with the mirror that they spend all day and all night gazing obsessively at it sometimes to the point where they stop eating and taking proper care of themselves. Ive rescued numerous birds afflicted with this complex and it was a long painful process to break them from it. Buyer Beware.

> 3 dayWanted a mirror with a small foot rest for a parakeet. This product is for bigger birds such as a parrot.

> 3 dayI have 2 lovebirds who love this mirror, it’s big enough for them to see their entire body. Maude, my peach faced lovebird will sit on it for half a day and talk to herself. Sometimes she screams as if she expects the bird in the mirror to answer her. Harold, my gray and blue/white lovebird will sit on it so long and stare at himself that he falls asleep. I’m always looking for things to occupy my birds and keep them happy, this is surely one of them!

> 3 dayThis is a good mirror, yes. Good material. It does not come with instructions on how to install it..but just do what you can. Haha. Now the watch out part.... When I had my first bird by himself he became crazy obsessed with this mirror and did not want to be away from it! He did not want to eat unless it was next to it. He would not move from the perch. It drove him crazy once I removed it. He acted like I just killed his friend. I do think he thought it was another bird. So I did just that.. I got him a friend..and he is definitely happier.

> 3 dayAs others have stated, the holes for the hooks do not line up at all. The top ones are okay but the lower ones are a no go. Hopefully it holds up to the parakeets.

02-06-2025Amazing product and mirror is bigger than expected , which is perfect for our bird. It comes with film protector so don’t think it’s used like I did at first. Pill away and it’s very clean.

> 3 dayI do not know how to contact manufacturer, so the 100% satisfaction guarantee probably wont help me. The holes drilled in the mirror dont correctly line up with the two holes in either of the hooks, so in order to tighten the nuts tightly enough, the bolts need to come in at un-straight angles so that the nuts can screw on tightly enough to put pressure between the hook and the back of the mirror to securely attach the hooks to the mirror (photos explain better than I can). I just put it together, so if my bird likes this mirror, I will keep it since I know he wont think theres something wrong with me in putting it together. :-) Anyone else seeing it might or might not understand that the mirror was defectively drilled, possibly thinking I am a ditz and couldnt put it together correctly. Also, the hooks are a little wider than my cage wires, so it almost didnt fit and took stretching the wires just a little bit, but once the bottom perch is installed and the wing nuts are completely tightened, it seems pretty secure.
