> 24 hourI recently had my office lamps plugged into touch pad dimmers, but needed to switch to something else because they started flickering (I was using LED bulbs - incompatible with the touch pad dimmers). I went ahead and purchased the two plug adapters with one remote so I can turn both lamps on and off without using the chain pulls and wearing them out over time. Plugged each one in, and they work flawlessly! I can control each lamp in my office now with the push of a button while sitting at my desk. No flickering, no lag, not a single problem so far. Makes me want to purchase more and use them all over the house!!! I couldnt be happier with this purchase. The quality is excellent. I feel like these will last for a very long time. I did end up attaching Velcro strips to the back of the magnetic pad (against the sticker that is on the back that should attach to whatever surface you choose) so it will be easier to access the batteries and gives a much sturdier stick to the surface, as some Reviewers said that the stickers werent strong enough, and the remote and magnetic pad would fall. (Thanks for the heads-up, Reviewers!!!)

> 24 hourIt’s perfect. I keep Christmas lights up year round and now I don’t have to fish around for the plug to turn them on and off. I have the remote on my door and easily turn them on and off and don’t have to worry about losing the remote since it’s magnetic.

> 24 hourI like that these work as expected. I do wish the plug portion was a bit smaller and not 3 prong. I also wish there was an option to have a second remote, but I wasn’t even able to purchase a remote in addition to this.

> 24 hourJust plug in the plug into an outlet, plug the device into the plug, then pull the battery tabs on the remote, and it is ready to go. You can put the remote anywhere. I needed a device to turn on both the back lamp behind my computer desk and the decretive wall on the wall, both in my office. With the remote, I can choose to turn on one or the other, or both, as needed. It works great. The only drawback is the receiver plugs are the exact diameter of a outlet, so you can fit both plugs in one regular electrical dual outlet, but if you have a large AC adapter or plug plugged into one electric port in a dual outlet, it might not fit in the remaining electrical port, so plan ahead.

> 24 hourI purchased these remotely controlled outlets to switch on/off 5 LED 4’ long shop lights in my garage. These shop lights are scattered throughout my garage, so I would have to go to each of the 5 lights and individually pull the chain to shut off these lights. A few of these pull chains are difficult to reach, so I fed 3 lights from one remote controlled outlet, and the remaining 2 from another remote controlled outlet. I fed each string of lights from an extension cord plugged into the remote controlled outlet, so all lights in the string would turn on or off together. The slender design of the remote outlet is such that it does not block the second outlet on an outlet box- very handy! Note that this slender size does have a slightly lower amperage rating, but in my case the lights pull very little power. I was surprised at the compact size of the outlets and the remote control; also, the design of the remote is quite cool as it is a puck shape with sculpted on and off buttons. The back of the remote has double-sided tape as well as magnets for attaching to various surfaces. And, best of all, the remote is easily detached from the base (I utilized the double-sided tape) when it’s time to change the battery. Very clever! I expected a bit of a hassle getting these outlets to “talk” to the remote, but there was no issue at all: I plugged in each outlet, plugged the lights into each, and the lights switched on or off via the remote perfectly! I’m very pleased with the design and construction of this remote/outlet set. Highly recommended!

> 24 hourVery easy to install. The instructions easy to understand. I used 3M Command stickers rather than the one one that came with the device so it doesnt damage the wall. The device really works great

> 24 hourOkay so they dont pair to separate buttons. No matter which ON and OFF button you choose during pairing each of them, either of the ON buttons will turn both on at the same time, and either of the OFF buttons will turn them both off. I can see this being a problem for many people looking into these, but for me personally, I got them to remote control my 2 VR light houses, so its actually better for my case, as I can turn them both on and off at the same time with a single press. Update on the pairing thing: I believe they came already paired to the switch. I never checked that and just followed pairing directions. I think I just paired them both to their opposite buttons as well, accidentally pairing both to both buttons. Im not going to check into this further, as I like it with 1 button controlling both. Another thing to note is that while its magnetic, its better with its plate, since there are magnets both in the unit and in the mounting plate. This is a poor design, and they should have just put stronger magnets in the unit. The magnets in the unit will require you to mount and use the plate, and arent strong enough to just hold the unit on a fridge or a metal PC door panel.
