My wife’s a big crafter, and very often uses fairy lights on her projects. She has lots of other, more elaborate strings, but loves these for their simplicity and small size. They each come with two CR2032 batteries already installed. The battery pack is super slim and easy to hide in a project, compared with a battery pack holding 3 or 4 AA batteries. She sometimes she hides the packs using a bit of the project’s ribbon. You can’t turn them on by a remote control, like some of her other more expensive ones, but the tiny switch on each one is easy to actuate. It would have been nice to be able to switch colors, but for less than a buck and a half per string – with batteries included – who can complain? The instructions say to pull out the battery insulation tab, but you have to open the case first. It’s easy to do, but if you try to pull that tab without opening, you’ll be there forever. Wife thinks this is a great deal. Hope this helps.

I got these for my DIY resin pieces they are so amazing

The lights work fine but were double the size. The strands were 6 long with 20 lights on each strand. I specifically ordered these because they were supposed to be shorter so its a disappointment.

Lights are great, but I purchased these because they only had 10 lights per strand. There are 20. Twice as many for what I need them for.

These are of very good quality. Like others have posted, the fact that they come with batteries is a big plus. I am about to order some more.

I got these for my daughter to use in resin after trying another brand that wasnt truly waterproof as claimed. These come in a simple plastic bubble bag. The wires are thin and the bulbs are tiny and give a delicate impression, but we havent had issues with them not working. Put into resin we have found they are adorable, but the battery pack is quite large so they need to be used in a large mold to be able to hide the control. The nice thing is that the control uses standard watch/button batteries so can be replaced. We used these in a terrarium and the affect was quite nice.

They are surprisingly bright considering how small they are and my set are the shortest length. I wanted them for some small pinecone style home made Christmas trees. They wrapped around each of the trees and while I do have to turn them on and off manually - they are powered by a large watch type battery and the plastic piece that houses the battery has a simple on/off switch - they are cute when lit up. Christmas is a few months off but I was trying to check my inside decorations to see if any needed repairs before the season. These are nice and working well for my needs.
