I took this as my personal item on an airplane to Puerto Rico and it went everywhere with me! It held so much and it fits easily under the seat. It has many special compartments and zippered pockets. Not too big , not to small.. perfect size for a weekend getaway . Many pockets and slots to organize all of ones carryon flight stuff , i would have loved this in university too for school paraphernalia. And it is not only functional but very attractive
