There are likely 100 things you can use these for!! They are strong and versatile. The thing that I used them for most is hanging decorations around the house inside and out!! Put them on my water heater and they were strong enough to hold a light weight broom, and a pair of shoes. Put one on the metal panel around my breaker panel and they held on super strong! I could not even pull it off, I ended up sliding it across until I could pull it off. Also mounted on appliances just to see and it was somewhere in between the water heater and breaker panel.

I love these! I have bought these 3 times now, because I keep finding more uses for them! The apartment laundry room had a weird set up and the best place for the washing machine had a low ventilated shelf in the way of allowing the door to open up fully. I used one of these to hold the door up. I have rows of them on the sides of my fridge for car keys, masks, house keys, etc.
