Because the top of the pack is curved, the dimensions shown are not completely accurate. A camera with a battery grip (a Canon 5D SR or Canon R) is too tight a fit to put the camera at the top of the bag (for top access) and close case without the back bulging. Which means you probably also couldnt pt a laptop in at the same time. A large camera will only fit comfortably next to the bottom/side access flap. The ProTactic 450 AW II is slightly deeper at the top and does provide enough clearance to place the camera at the top of the pack, even wit a battery grip.

Most Ive spend on a backpack but I understand the price. This is very quality. Everything I need for photo/video shoot fits well with space. Zippers are thick and chunky and everything feels very strong. My gear feels safe and I have peace of mind. As long as this lasts me years to come, Im happy I bought this.

Get this guy few weeks ago. Hiked twice with them. So comfortable. All my canon gears 70-200 with camera and 24-70 with camera fit very well. Nice product. :)
