I love this bag! It is big enough to tote my 17 inch lap top with plug and mouse and then some. I use it for work and I pack water, food, all my essentials, and plenty of pens. Plenty of pocket space and compartments I also can carry my gym clothes in it. After some time of use and I bought it March of 2019; It did begin to separate at the zipper on one of the pouches. But I think its because I got too happy with stuffing the bag with things it was too heavy. I removed some of the things (I didnt really even need anyhow) and no more tearing. Im more conscious of what goes in it and how I tote it around for me and the backpack (^_^). It has a charge port section for my phone too and it works with the charger I had purchased separately. The ear phone section is not needed cause Im wireless but it works great for my yarn. I love it. When I need another one I will be purchasing it again or one close like it from the seller. Even with the tear I am still very pleased with the product!!

Very roomy backpack. I bought it for my fiancée who is going to be be a resident physician and who is essentially going to be living out of this backpack for 4 years. The backpack is very well designed and has a compartment for everything.

This backpack is roomy. It does hold a 17 inch laptop in the back section with room for paper, folders, and book. The main section is large. We are able to pack 20 protein bars, 3 pair long pants, 2 pair of shorts, 6 shirts, socks, a large travel microfiber towel, wash cloth, a sweater, and a light jacket with room to spare. There is a full length section in front of the main section and 2 small outside sections. There are 2 long thin outside zippered side sections as well as 2 water bottle holders on the side. Our water bottles stayed in place. It easily fits in the overhead compartment of a plane, bus and train. It holds a battery charger, phone, and headphones come out through the top by the handle. Everything stayed dry even when out in the light to moderate rain. We have not used these in heavy rain. You can put travel locks on all but one small pocket on the front and the long thin side pockets.

I have been this back for over a year and I travel often internationally. It worked very well for me .

We purchased two of this and one of a different (supposedly smaller) backpacks for a trip with personal item carry only. This backpack seems to be “padded” for comfort but it wasn’t more comfortable than the other/smaller One we purchased. The storage is weird as it held less. We did NOT pack it full (leaving space to add stuff from our trip) but it was NOT TSA sized for a personal item. We were stressed when an agent passed us even though they didn’t fit in the tsa space box. We removed half of the items on the way home, bought a suitcase for the items we bought and the items in our backpack… with less than 1/2 full It was STILL too padded to fit under the seat and barely passes TSA inspection while only 1/3 fit in the box. Our steward allowed us to place it in the overhead compartment vs paying to check it. The third that was another brand opened better to pack, was slimmer, more comfortable to carry and passes tsa and fit under the chairs. It has a ton of pockets but each seemed hard to get things in and out of. It was uncomfortable also for so much “padding”. We are returning this sadly. We had high hopes but it doesn’t work for travel in this capacity.

Was really pleased with the storage options, design and fit of this pack. I immediately ran into one significant design issue with the back collar strap that runs across the back of your neck or upper back. Knocked off one star. The more active a person you are the more this is likely to be an issue. Depends on how tight & high or low and loose you wear the pack and how often. That back collar strap that runs between the back straps is not soft and will rub sores on your neck if you are at all active or using the pack worn high for any length of time. The back collar strap needs to be cushioned, designed to absorb sweat and breath like the rest of the back straps & padding. I like this pack and will not ask for a refund despite this being a big issue for me. I simply asked a seamstress friend to sew on back collar padding.
