I avoid using this on my face because I think I had a micro reaction once. My face started to feel a little hot and tingly. I have a somewhat sensitive face, but the rest of my body is ok with this lotion. I find it moisturizing on my legs, specifically, because I get laser hair removal on my legs and they get very dry afterwards, and itchy. I layer this on my legs the day after my laser session and suddenly, no more itch. My skin feels great.

Not greasy

I really love this moisturizer it sinks into the skin and doesnt set on the top so you dont feel greasy or gummy. Try it you like it Ive used it for years and I wouldnt use anything else

This is one of the only moisturizers my dermatologists office recommends, and now I know why -- it doesnt irritate my skin at all. Almost every other moisturizer makes my skin itch, including other kinds of Lubriderm, but not this one. Ive narrowed the culprit ingredient down to a few possibilities, lanoleths and lanolates and words with lano- in them; this basic of version of Lubriderm has none of those. Its also not oily at all and just makes my skin feel normal.

I use this on my healing tattoos and it helps keep it moisturized and reduce itchiness and flaking.

This lotion is very hydrating. I dont like the scented versions of this product and unlike other unscented lotions this actually has zero scent. The unscented seems to be no longer available in retail stores.
