> 3 dayThis luggage tag looks great and is incredibly well made. Having had tags literally rip off my bags during transit, I wanted something that was easy to see on the carousel, but would stay on the bag. I put it on the handle and its the perfect size and thickness to tuck underneath. It fit my business card easily and seems like it will last for many years. Highly recommended!

> 3 dayI put the tag on my luggage and tightened the screw part as hard as I could but, when i received my luggage at the baggage claim in Europe, it was gone. I used in once and it fell off sadly.

> 3 dayI got this luggage due to the novelty of having an initial. I thought that I would compare it against another luggage tag that I purchased a few months back. According to the listing, this tag is made of rubber and my old orange tag is made of silicone. Feeling them together, there doesnt seem to be much of a difference as far as bendability. The texture on the rubber is maybe a little less smooth. From a design perspective, this tag has the name card sandwiched between two pieces of plastic. You can make it private by facing the back side outwards, where it has instructions in various languages to flip the card over (see picture). My old orange tag has the card behind a piece of plastic, with a cutout in the silicone that is just large enough that your name is visible (it can be blank too - your contact info is on the other side). I think my main concern with this tag is the amount of surface area that is open to the elements. That plastic window is big and if the bag gets rained upon, moisture could collect and eventually find its way to the edges and onto the paper card. Ive also seen these types of frame tags get the edges ripped off by baggage equipment and then your card falls out. The much smaller window on the orange tag reduces these risks. Note the hole placement as well, its practically impossible for the card to slide out of the orange tag but there is some potential on the black tag. I see that Shacke sells another version of this tag with a full privacy cover. It was a dollar cheaper at the time of this writing. I think Id go with that version if you want a letter initial tag. I would also suggest that you choose a color that has high contrast with your luggage. For example, I use the orange tag with black luggage and I can always spot it quickly. I will use this black tag with a light green bag that I own.

> 3 dayI got this luggage tag to replace an old plastic luggage tag that had broken and fallen off. This luggage tag is made out of flexible silicon and has a stainless steel loop. Also, the stainless steel loop goes through a metal eyelet in the tag, so it shouldnt rip through the tag. I just put my business card inside, with my address and cell phone number written on the backside, which I had to cut to fit. However, the pouch that holds the business card doesnt have anything keeping the business card from falling out. The metal loop has a screw to attach it to the luggage. Also, the loop is a little difficult to screw on and off, due to the metal being being so stiff. It has held up to its first trip and didnt tear or break. I like that it stands out and I can easily see it coming off the conveyor belt. Since my business card/name tag could easily fall out, I am going to just use this luggage tag on my carry-on. This would be perfect if the silicon went all the way up to the top and the metal loop went through both sides, holding the business card/name tag in. For this issue, I dropped the rating down by one star.
