LulzBot Mini PEI Sheet

> 24 hourOnce you clean your print bed, this is easy to apply. The old PEI sheet had been melted away in a couple of places because of a few bad registrations that I didnt catch in time. I had been using a film to cover those holes, but the price and relative ease of replacing the PEI sheet is much better than using a film that tears and gets caught in the print. Its so much easier to release the models, if you are using glass or a metal plate you should add this immediately

> 24 hourBy far and away the best replacement for your original. Removing the old sheet is a pain but lots of videos out there to show you. I didnt do the freezer trick and my sheet came off just fine. I used a spray bottle for the rubbing alcohol and it worked well.

> 24 hourI am not sure what was going on with my previous PEI, but I was using glue sticks consistently and get prints to stick. Since switching the stock PEI over to this one I print directly to the bed with no issue. The prints stick well, but after letting the bed and part cool I am typically easily remove the parts by hand.

> 24 hourAfter 2 years printing on my Lulzbot Mini 3D printer, the PEI bed was showing signs of wear with lift spots. Time to replace the PEI surface! There are other PEI products available but if you check them closely you will find the adhesive is an additional item. And that process would be rather messy adhering both surfaces without air bubbles! No, the best way is to use authentic Lulzbot Mini products that have the adhesive already attached. I spent a few hours removing the old PEI sheet and cleaning the class bed to remove the remaining sticky residue. Once the glass bed was completely clean and dry I peeled back the new PEI sheet and using a plastic wide putty knife, slowly installed it being careful to remove any air bubbles. I finished by trimming off the excess around the edges. Taking my time on this project netted me a new looking machine that is back to making great 3D prints again! GREAT PRODUCT!
