This item has rougher teeth than the original one in the vinyl packaging. I have bought 4 all together and the last 2 , one of which was a replacement order had a rather rough texture towards the end of the teeth, which could rip or split your hair strand. My first 2 were amazingly great and I would give those 5 stars if I had reviewed immediately after those purchases, but these last couple that come in the cardboard paper packaging aren’t good.

This item works but it’s a little too large to be convenient to use anywhere other than your home and I found the tips a little scratchy, they should be a little smoother But it helps tame an itch

I love this. It definitely lets me scratch my scalp through my braids without beating myself up.

I ordered the black, and I like it. It feels good on the scalp and I can see it being a good scalp scratcher. However, I will agree that the teeth of the scratcher should more firm and the price is a little high. I will keep not, but will have my out for something sturdier and cheaper.

This product is so creative! I absolutely love it. I bought 2. When I leave the house I grab my cell phone and the claw just in case I need to get to that impossible itch under the braid or net on the go. Only reason I gave 4 stars is that I feel the product is priced alittle high for the quality. Worth $5 max. Product teeth not sturdy plastic so I anticipate that it will break with repeated use really soon. Since the product could get caught under a tight braid or net when in use, it needs to be more study. I handle it very carefully. Otherwise I would order more as gifts for other. I will be looking for other options to try.
