I ordered the large size and unless you knit small items would not recommend you go smaller. I really like the bag BUT as you can see from the photos, 12 inch needles stick up too far and I would be worried about losing knitting needles from the outside pockets. Love that there are plenty of inside pockets and the outside flap is great to keep crochet hooks. I also kept other things in there. One thing that was not thought about which I did not realise until I threaded the yarn through the holes (which is a great idea) is that once you start knitting and put the knitting back inside the bag it is awkward to close the zip. If you leave a long tail of yarn it is possible.

I LOVE this bag! Its extremely functional. Tons of pockets and room to keep things organized. I purchased the smaller size and its perfect for on the go crocheting. One of my favorite purchases hands down.

I bought this as a gift for a friend who is downsizing her stash. This bag has an amazing amount of needle storage, a main compartment large enough for 4 giant skeins of yarn, and built-in grommets on top, complete with a zipper, to keep colors separate but available for colorwork. I bought the small size and am thinking that I need to buy myself the larger bag, because I am a sweater knitter. This smaller bag would accommodate a sweater project if you store your yarn elsewhere. Its lightweight, also, but sturdy, making it just about the Perfect Project Bag.

I really like the size of this bag, not too big, not too small, it could use a shoulder strap. It has lots of organization separations. I added in some grommets to do a shoulder strap myself.

The product looks fine. The problem is I ordered purple and it came in gray. Even though the tag in the product says purple. Funniest looking purple I have ever seen. I don’t have the time nor do I want to bother to send the item back. Just a hassle!

This is a nice size bag and I got the small size. 11 inches tall, 5 inches wide, 13 inches long. Made with a canvas, fabric material. 2 pockets on each end. 1 side has pockets for hooks or needles. Other side has zippered section to hold crochet hooks and plastic zippered pouch to hold accessories. Pocket inside as well. Can hold small to med size project with yarn. Zipper to close with grommets. Well worth the money. I got grey color and it is nice color.
