The metal ring pops off easily. Blades fly off dangerously while in motion.

I have been using these for a while now. And my advice is to let the tool do the work. Minimal pressure ensures that the tool does the cutting and the blade lasts for an extended period of time. They are very good quality. Always use eye protection and gloves.
