These are really very useful for furniture work, edge smoothing, anything that you can picture them doing, they do well. Cant believe Im saying this but, YES, YOU DO NEED A DRILL with a standard chuck (not collet), and the faster it can go (rpm wise), the more effective your sanding will be. So lets talk about value: Youre getting a lot AND youre getting a good variety, different grits mean lots of options! After I bought this package for a very specific job, but my Dad immediately said hed buy some off me, because he would need them for a project hes undertaking. They are versatile and valuable and so convenient. Plenty of uses!

Decent for the price and it includes several disks. They do wear down faster than other flap sanding wheels I have used

I have only used these a few times. They don’t seem as durable as some flap wheels I bought at a woodworking trade show a few years ago. I wish I could have found the 3” versions on Amazon in a variety of grits but these will do.

I have used these for years and these are a good value. I use these to get rust off of car parts.

Needed to sand something on mutual plow , worked great.

These are NOT 1/4 inch shank. They are marked as 6mm shank, but actually measure smaller than that. If you plan to use them in a 1/4 inch collet there is a strong probability that they will not fit. They did not fit in 4 different die grinders that we tried them in - including one with new, unused collet (i.e. not worn out) But......they DO only say that they will fit in a drill chuck. How many 20,000 rpm drills exist?

If you can hold on to your electric drill, which is not that easy with this attached, it will only do a mediocre job. Then it wears out. Meah.
