I should start by saying that first, I am way too old to be riding a skateboard and commenting on how it is as a quality board, and second that I am biased in that I got this one a lightning deal for a ridiculously low price. I bought this for my eight year old nephew and while many eight year olds are probably shredding empty swimming pools, my nephew is a cautious one and has barely tried standing up on it. BUT, I had bought him a cheapie one from another store and I could not ride the thing at all The second I took this one out of the box I could tell this would be different. It is light and feels well constructed. I had no problems riding this one at all so I feel it must just be a better overall board. for a kids first board I think this one is a winner, especially if you happen to get it sub thirty seven bucks like I did!

got this for my 8 yr old son who wanted to try skateboarding. i was surprised there was such an affordable skateboard option. he’s just starting, and he seems to be doing well on this. he loves the light up wheels, though you can’t really tell unless it’s dark outside, which is past his bedtime, haha. my husband also has fun riding it, and he loves that there was an option with the Maryland state flag on it! (we aren’t sure why this was a design choice, as there are no other state flag options available. but it sold us!)

This is our 5 year old sons first skateboard, he does okay on it but he would do better with a wider board. This board is pretty slim and as a beginner he struggles a bit to stay on it when he takes one foot off to push himself along. Overall its nicely constructed and the colors are vibrant. I just wouldnt necessarily consider it a beginners skateboard!

Purchased this for my 9 year old granddaughter for her birthday. She absolutely loves it, especially the wheels lighting up. She is a beginner, so it’s taking her some time, but her bigger 11 year old sister is using it and now she wants one if her own. Hasn’t been used enough though, for me to be able to give it a five star. So, at this point I will give it a four star.

Wheel stopped working after first use. I am not really surprised at all. Did not include a tool for some reason. Im getting a refund

Solid skateboard, wheels are large enough for a beginner. Bearings are actually fairly smooth considering, didn’t bind up. Wheels light up upon movement. Would recommend
