> 3 dayJust received this in the mail. Havent tried it yet. Frustrated that my brand new software is version 5.4.2 when the brand new version (6.0.4) can be purchased online for $49. Apparently I can get a free upgrade by sending documentation to their support department showing when I purchased version 5. Ive sent off the Amazon shipping notice, well see what their response is. You can also buy the upgrade for $25. It looks like the upgrade has a lot of new things so for now Im not going to start with the old and have to either reenter or relearn.

> 3 dayNever tried sorting family tree before, so no benchmark, but this seems to do what i want. Would have liked a linked document archive though.

> 3 dayJust chose this (an older version) as it was very cheap compared to the current version. Works absolutely fine on MacBook Pro (Mavericks). Very happy with the purchase. Could import the data file from Ancestry.co.uk family tree file.

> 3 dayI wish i had read the negative reviews before i wasted my money on this. Hopeless is the only word i can think of for this excuse for a programme, the virtual tree thing is just a gimmicky joke, as for the rest, words fail me !!!! I have taken the unprecedented step of uninstalling it and junking it, 40 quid down the drain, you live and learn.....avoid.

> 3 daySo far I am liking it, would have liked a link to do pages though, have lots of written material and photos re family and notes seem a bit messy, and cant seem to find where to put wedding dates as yet, but it is supposed to be there ... still working on that one. apart from that, I think it is going to work out well, have so much information to input before I go live. Work in progress ...

> 3 dayI now have upgraded over the net to version 5.6.8 at no charge. They still have a few minor details to iron out but overall a good product. Once I learn the ins and outs Ill feel more comfortable using it. Support via e-mail is a little slow sometimes, but they do respond.

> 3 dayGood software. I have about 200 people in my database and it is easy to work with. I wish it supported DNA entries and I wish it had research tools such as empty forms and a to do list, or a last person worked on list or something.
