Madeira Rayon Embroidery Thread 5500yd Cone WHITE Color: 1001

I ordered my first cone of this Madeira Rayon thread back in Sept of this year and since then I have reordered and gone through 3 cones with embroidering lace motifs. I use this thread in both my Brother SE1800 and also my Husqvarna Viking Designer 1 and I never have a problem using this thread. One evening while I was stitching out a lace motif, I did go through a few times where the upper thread on my Brother kept messing up...it kept shredding (teasing up) in the upper thread tension area. Then I discovered it was because I needed to put a new needle in. (I did put a new needle in when I began, but then (thinking I could slide....) I had stitched out *several* motifs with the same needle). After I put a new needle in, things ran smoothly again and Ive had absolutely no problems since. Ok, as a rule I know its important to always begin a new project with a new needle, but boy I sure found out it was definitely true - it DID make a big difference. This thread has a beautiful silk-like luster to it and my lace motifs have a much softer feel to them compared to lace motifs made with polyester thread. I love that it comes on a large cone (6.75 tall and about 7-1/2 around at the base) and I love the price even more! Its a great quality embroidery thread - Im never without it now.

I love this thread and this huge size is perfect since I use so much white. This giant spool is great but you need to have a spool stand with a thread guide shaft since it is too large for the spool pin.

I am very pleased with my Madiera thread I received. There was a mix up in the size of the spools but was promptly corrected. And I was able to keep the smaller spools sent by mistake. I will order from them hen I need more thread.

Used this product for a large embroidery project. Its always nice to have a very large spool on hand.

I use this thread for making embroidery lace items mostly at Christmas. Its a great deal and my machine loves it.
