This headlamp should definitely provide enough light for any task. It has several light settings as well as the ability to adjust the direction of the light. Fantastic battery life, too.

This is a great strong headlamp that has a lot of useful features, is easy to use, and is long lasting.

Bright, multiple options for lighting. Got it for working in dark places (attic, basement, crawlspace) or on detailed things. The main light is too bright to have on when working on anything close up. There are multiple options for brightness on the two light banks. There are two switches to control the illumination levels. Theres a low-light / red-light option on one thats interesting to see if it will be beneficial in very low light situations.

As I continue to equip my scout, this is a must-have. It comes with rechargeable batteries, and it is very bright. Not too heavy, and the charge is more than enough for a weekend camping trip. Really hard to lose because it is on your head, and also, frees the hands. My scout and her friends like the 8 different modes they can set for lights, and it helps me be more comfortable because they can turn on SOS if there is a true emergency.
