I will add a relevant image to illustrate my point. The flaw? You cannot SEE the numerals or characters on the key! There is a lot of lights, that is not the problem. The problem is, the chrome colored casings on all the keys reflects so much light, you cannot see the characters / numbers on the tops of the keys. In comparison to the luminosity, intensity and hi-reflectivity, the lit characters may as well be blank. For me, this renders the keyboard useless. I would definitively label this design a total failure, based strictly on simple, objective and obvious parameters. Assuming that flaw was eliminated, I still did not like the keyboard, based on personal preferences. It looks cute, but I did not like the keys. Thats not a design flaw, I knew about the keys obviously, but in real practice, its impractical, kluncky, with an unfriendly, non-flowing feel, but again, some may totally dig it and find the feel totally different. I do not game, so this is from a totally typing point of view. If you like smooth, ergonomic, large-feeling, soft-tacky keyboard with nice resistance down and instant-smoot-pop-up, then you wont like this. I HAVE to see the keys easily, so the FLAW issue is a non-starter for me. but this thing is truly awkward and gangly, dont let the dimensions fool you, it really is like typing on a mechanical keyboard, I mean, not electric typewriters, Im talking, before that, before electricity .. This thing is awful. May be a good novelty for some, but definitely not worth ny desk space.

It worked great for 6 months. Now the 3 key only works sometimes and also the A key is now not working every time. So I do a lot of editing and double checking my text :( Its too late to return or get advice on the product from Amazon. So I will be getting another keyboard. Update 1/7/23. I returned this and got the new edition. Working great!

Lots of light options to choose from and brightness and speed controls! It took a while to figure out what I wanted to use first. The keys are ergonomically correct and make the clacky key sound I was after. Substantial, heavier than expected and most importantly the letters and numbers do not wear off! A very good value if you are looking to jazz up the WFH desk.

It’s cute, and works great but there are two “H”s on it and no “Y”.

I love how it matches with my workstation just right!! It’s a bit nosey but it’s giving type writer vibes for sure. I love it overall

Satisfying keys, took some time for me to get used to switching from a regular keyboard to a typewriting styled one. But over all I like the white and blue together, and I enjoy doing my writing with it.

Love at first sight! I seen this retro keyboard and I know I had to have one. Easy to install. No instructions needed, just plug in and go. I brought it because my laptop 3 year old laptop keys (A,Q,Z, #1) stop working and to repair will cost over $100 and however long they will send off and return. That did not include the price if shipping. So I needed an cheap alternative and this was it. Yes, I could of purchase an cheaper or less fancier keyboard but when I seen this style keyboard came across my radar, I had to have it. I rated it 4 stars for value for the money because I believe a mouse should have came with it, but it is still OK.

It IS loud, but I was fine with that ahead of time being mechanical keyboard. My fingers had a tough time adjusting to the keys, but again was to be expected. 2 things irritated me which made me switch back to my old keyboard. 1, the pattern kept changing back to an annoying one after every reboot and 2, you cannot change the colors, its stuck in a rainbow color scheme which I despise. Might be a good keyboard for anyone in the LGBTQ+ community though.
