> 3 dayI purchased this for my Pool Blaster as everyone said you would need it to seal the electrical access port. Water Tech changed the design so I have yet to use it. Four stars for the really small tube that was not sealed under the cap as I expected. I also found a nearly identical product at Leslie Pool supply for less and a larger quantity.

> 3 dayI needed to replace my pool filters backwash slide valve because the guy I hired to clean my D.E. filter elements broke it without telling me. It has always been a little sticky to move the first time in a while, but this guy must not have had the time to be careful. Pulling the broken valve out was a little difficult as I suspected; I used needle-nosed locking pliers to grip the shaft in the valve body, then regular locking pliers to grip those to gently wiggle it out. To lube the new valve body before going back in, I use the usual pool lubes and they work ok, getting stiff and sticky again pretty quick. THIS STUFF, however, restored the valves easy, smooth movement to how it was when we put the pool in. Well see how long it stays that way, but it definitely made a significant difference from the standard pool lubes. This one does say its for moving parts and maybe thats the difference.
