Greater than one weekWhen the description said double density, Im not sure what I had in mind about durability. It certainly wasnt the product breaking into pieces after only a few minutes of scrubbing with them. On the positive side, they work really well even if theyre in pieces and there are so many in the package, it doesnt feel like youre tossing money in the trash if you decide to throw it away. I went on a maniacal testing spree when I got them and can say that they work well on most hard surfaces, and if you use them dry (which you arent supposed to) they clean up pet hair off furniture like nobodys business. If you want extended durability, this isnt a great match for you. The quantity and cost offsets the durability issue in my opinion.

They required much more elbow grease than the typical melamine sponges and could only be used 2 or 3 times before falling apart.

> 3 dayThese are good replacements for the regular magic erasers as long as you don’t care that they are about half the size of the name brand. They work good but can deteriorate quickly when using them.

> 3 dayI bought these instead of the spendy Mr Clean magic erasers. After reading that these dont have chemicals and the mr clean sponges do, I was skeptical. But these seem to work just as well as the expensive versions with the bonus of being chemical free. I use them to clean crayons off walls, clean doors, bathrooms and kitchens. It disintegrates with use just as the others do, but it definitely removes whatever you are scrubbing. Cant beat the price for as many come in the pack. 50 sponges will last me a while!
