> 3 dayThe magnifier is quite light to hold, although I find that it can become uncomfortable if held for long periods of time (Im a woman in my 60s and do not have the strongest hands). The lighting is excellent, with a combined on/off dimmer dial thats easily accessible. The only problem that Ive encountered is that the battery compartment is located on the backside of the protruding handle/tab. The battery compartment has a loose friction-fit sliding door. When holding the device, ones fingers are held against the battery compartment door. The door keeps sliding open while you are holding the device and reading. You can overcome this by being careful, but its a bit of a nuisance.

> 3 dayI just pulled it out of the box and I was reading text that I struggled with before. Then I popped in the 3 AAA batteries and it lit up the page I was reading. Handy dandy little tool!

> 3 dayI just got it so havent used it long. I thought the lights would be annoying but they dont seem to be. I like that there are 3 choices and off. Magnification is very good. If I use it under a light fixture I can see the reflection of the fixture. But I could easily read the newspaper etc without reading glasses which was the goal. I read a lot of reviews of different products. I didnt think I would like lights but others mentioned shadows so I changed my mind. I think it will be very helpful.
