Makita 831271-6 21 x 12 Contractor Tool Bag

Great bag. Not too long. Not too tall. Wider than other bags. Plenty of pockets. The four inside pockets, two on either side, span half the length of the bag, each, with sufficient expansion capability (no elastic, just a simple billow shape). The outside pockets, approximately split the length in thirds, and are sized well enough for accessories, pliers, wrenches, etc. I like the Velcro handle cinch, that keeps the two looped handles together. Its not a hindrance or fuss, but rather makes for convenient grab-it-and-go. Shoulder strap, included, too, with good clasp attachment to the bags sturdy D-rings. The bags two-sided zipper, functions well. If finding a nit-picky minus were necessary, Id say itd be nice if it had feet or bottom rails. I guess I can add some, if I find his omission truly bothers me. I use it as my ultimate, Mac-Daddy drill bag, hauling Makitas 12V system cordless drill, impact driver, saws-all, charger, extra batteries, multiple bit boxes, spade and Forstner bit cases, along with plug cutters, stop-collars, countersink bits, blades, etc. I was able to condense two bags of tools, into this appropriately sized, easily manageable tote. The Amazon sales vendor, Neandertool, has proven to be easy to communicate with, and delivers. as promised.

Nice bag so far. I bought a 6 piece brushless set and the bag that came with my set was a little too big. This bag is perfect size. It fits my sawzall, hammer drill, impact driver, charger, several batteries and the crappy non led flashlight. Fits these items and zips up. I hav a grinder and circ saw but i dont use them that often so i dont need to carry them everyday. Do far i cannot complain but ive only used the bag for a week do i cant say about durability yet. But it seems like a nice bag for my needs i will b using ghe bag daily at work so ill update if it fails. It was shipped very well packaged

Just what I was looking for. I needed a bag/case for my Makita 7 1/4 inch circular saw. The saw didn’t come with a case. I asked the store (True Value) where I bought the saw about the case or bag that will fit my saw. They referenced this bag but they wanted $56 for it. I searched amazon and found it for a better price. I received it today and the saw fits in the bag with plenty of space left. It’s sturdy and well made. It doesn’t come with the shoulder strap. Time will tell how it holds up.

Came with a big hole on the bottom and stitching on handle coming apart.

I dont understand why this has been discontinued but it is a fantastic bag. Fits my saw, charger and two batteries perfectly.
