I was looking for inexpensive urinals for my husband who is bedridden and has to use a catheter. Even with cleaning, over time they get gross so I like to be able to toss them out eventually, so I wanted something cheap. These work fine for that purpose. The markings are hard to read but I was able to use a sharpie to mark them more clearly. The ones that I received have a blue cap, but no blue ring around the opening. Nothing about them is “glow in the dark”. That didn’t matter to me but it is still false advertising. They are kind of flimsy but will stand upright on the floor. Seems to me they could be knocked over pretty easily but so far that hasn’t happened. I knocked off a star for the false advertising and also one for overall quality, but as I said, for my purposes they were okay.

Over time, It gets nasty as expected and can’t be cleaned out too well, so I suggest replacing it as a whole.

Lids do not seal onto the container well at all. Edges around the wouth of the container are sharp. Sharp is the LAST thing they should be considering what appendage goes inside.

These male urinals are a pain to use. The lids dont seal quickly. There is a risk of accidentally dumping urine as you fuss with replacing lids. After replacing the lid I was resealing the lid did not seal all way around As I put the bottle away it slipped out of my hands and the lid popped open and the bottle landed on it side... there was a small amount urine so it didnt spill over the opening. If there were a larger amount of liquid it would have soaked the carpet in my sisters house and left the stench of urine in the carpet forever. Ive since learned to place bottle on the inside of my trash bucket so if starts to fall it will drop into the trash can ( lined) and not land on the floor. Buy something a little more substantial with a better rebiew I received 4 more of these after my review of the first two... They were much better and the lids fit well.

This product is very convenient, for those struggling to get moving quickly or unable to move out of bed at all, it’s perfect.

Notice various urinals. Some have the handle pinched off at the main opening. This keeps urin out of the handle. This urinal does not making it very difficult to clean. Maybe ssf one epoxy blocking the opening of the handle would work. Price us very good. Urinal poly is a bit thin compared to some others. Good buy for the buck. Will not last as long as some of the thicker poly ones. Another weak point is the lids tend to rip where slipped over handle. Replacement lids not available. Hope this helps your decision.

This is a splendid companion for road trips. Note that I have dangly bits; I really cannot say if persons with ladies bits will find this quite as convenient. It also has a wide mouth which will allow you to insert ice cubes; that and the lid which provides a positive seal means that it also makes for a good cocktail shaker (if you dare).
