going to need some work with dremel to get to fit right but are light weight. Wish I had stuck with metal ones.

Ive purchased the cheap, off-brand versions, and nothing beats the genuine article. Im an architectural photographer by trade, and the others that Ive tried didnt fit well enough to be useful. This adapter plate fits my Manfrotto heads (geared and ball) perfectly and without any slop that Ive experienced with the cheaper versions. Do yourself a favor and just pony up for the real deal. Its worth it!

Received the real deal...not a knock-off

This works AWESOME! it is MUCH lighter, but there is no compromise in quality from the original plate. This is a genuine Manfrotto product. It came in the original packaging and has their logo on the base screw. I will be ordering more soon for all my telephoto lenses and all my camera bodies.

I buy extras. This one works just fine, so now I have a backup.

Did the job on my tripod

Fit the tripod and is dense and well built. Great replacement piece. Too bad all things Manfrotto cost and arm and a leg

This is the same quick release plate that came with the Manfrotto MK290LTA3-BHUS 290 tripod I recently bought. And, since I switch between my film camera and my digital camera on photo shoots, it helps to have a quick release plate for each camera. Ill probably buy a couple of more just to have as spares and for cameras I may buy in the future.

Works great. Fits cameras listed. Not hard to clip on and off.

Makes it easier to change from my binoculars to my camera on the tripod.
