> 3 dayI measured the space between frames, and it is .20 which is less than the .25 minimum required for bees to travel between the sides of the frames. Bees will always have to go over top or under bottom to get to the other side but worse they will try to glue the frames together with propolis. bees build excess comb in a space larger than 3/8 inch. Bees will fill any space less than 1/4 inch with propolis. Therefore, a space between 3/8 inch and 1/4 inch is in a range of acceptable bee space, with 5/16 inch an average that is most acceptable by beekeepers.
