I use it year round and especially during the summer months with dewy pastures at night and hot dry days. I apply it every morning and evening, and my horse who has shoes does not get any more cracks around the nails. The shoes stay on!

Love this stuff. Pricey but It works great!! I live in an area where black clay soil is like concrete when it dries. It helps my tender footed and barefooted gelding with thin soles and walls. It also keeps clay and rocks from packing in hooves so glad I can get it in a larger bottle.

This is a fairly thin liquid unlike others Ive used. It soaks into the hoof quickly, unlike some that are thick and seem to sit on the surface. This product reminds me of Trail-Eze hoof dressing which is apparently no longer on the market. I cant really say whether this has healed my horses hoofs -- I havent had him too long, and he had no apparent hoof problems when I got him. However, I had his shoes pulled a 7 weeks ago, and his hooves are staying in remarkably good shape -- no chipping or cracking. I bought this product based on reviews on the Dover Saddlery web site where users all raved about it. Highly recommended.

My horse has horrible soft crumbly sensitive feet. Since Ive used this product they toughened up, have harder soles and arent crumbling! Im a fan.
