Manual Edge Banding Trimmer for Woodworking, Veneer Edge Cutter Tool for Wood Edge Banding

I thought the design would make it easier and more stable to use than other trimmers but it was just too flimsy to work well. The handle and screws holding the blade down had too much play to make straight cuts. The blade also did not seem very sharp either. You would have to saw at the banding to get started then it would dig in or deflect as you pushed it along. I tried a more traditional trimmer without much better results. I ended up just sanding down the banding.

I liked the idea of this because the blade is one of those snap off kind. But its horrible -there is no guide to keep the angle correct; in fact, the blade angles down so it bites into your work. Could do a better job myself just using a utility knife.

This Manual cutter was a waste of money. I tried it and it didnt cut. I ended up using a utility knife.

Works as advertised

easy to use, no brainer for any type of edge banding and laminates.

It is serviceable, but not great. The product needs additional “ heft” to make it easier to handle and use. The contact surfaces should be coated with felt or equivalent to avoid scratching the wood surface

Veneer trimming. Perfect reasonably priced solution

Worked great to trim my birch iron on wood trim l. Definitely easy to use and it did a great job trimming my table top. Definitely would recommend this tool.
