they work but the boxes came covered in dirt and charcoal. not sure why that was.

I have a 125 gallon and I have 2 of the marineland 350 filters on it and they keep the water crystal clear. Yeah Ill eventually upgrade to canister filter but these have worked great for well over a year so far , so why did whats not broken.
