I spent 2-3 hours researching different backpacks and finally settled for this one and Im glad I did. It had all the features that were important to me: Water bottle pocket, USB charging, chest strap, concealed travel document pocket, laptop and IPad sections, two easy access outside pockets, luggage strap for mounting over carry on baggage and even internal keyring loop. It was big enough for all of my carry on gear, but still small enough to fit under the seat in front of me and take into work as a laptop bag. First trip was for three weeks to Europe and India and it held up just great. Looks sharp too - would definitely recommend.

One of the best Backpacks I’ve ever used until now. In my view it’s way better than many big brands out there. I traveled internally twice with this bag and It’s just flawless. I would recommend this. Plus : Great on storage : from laptop to sunglasses. Compartments: a lot pockets to store your stuff and good for people who like more pockets.

Mark Ryden carries both the most versatile traveling bags and the best looking ones. I was far from disappointed with my purchase of this backpack, and though there are a few parts that weren’t to my expectation, my overall experience is worth the five stars. First, let’s just gaze at the design. You’ll feel real good wearing this wherever you go. It’s almost silky to the touch and repels water like it’s allergic to it. No complaints here whatsoever. The inside is where the true magic lives. You have three fair-sized compartments and four smaller storages, so you don’t have to worry about space. I was shocked by how much room I had when I stuffed all my books and devices in there, and it felt comfortable wearing it the whole way to lecture. I will say that, as with any backpack, considerable weight will surely be felt on the shoulders, but unless you plan to carry bricks all the time, I wouldn’t worry too much about it. Finally, my critics: the cup holder and laptop compartment. The cup holder looks nice and adds to the aesthetic of the backpack, but sometimes it’s a hassle squeezing my cup (a typical 8 oz) into the pocket. It requires quite the angle to get the sucker in; it’s much easier having more of a net style like other backpacks BUT it’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make for Mark Ryden. The laptop compartment is self-explanatory: too big. I thought my 14” laptop would be at least somewhat snug but it’s just too small. If you have a bigger laptop, I wouldn’t fret it much, and even though mine doesn’t fit like I want it, there’s still padding in place to protect it. All in all, I believe it’s worth 5 stars. I’ve had it for over a month I believe and it’s hardly developed a scratch.

I transferred my items from another backpack which is about half of the size from MARK RYDEN Business Backpack was already full?! It seems like it was designed using thick and bulky materials that do not provide extra space as expected from such size of backpack. It also somehow heavy feel.

So far this backpack has worked very well. Looks very nice and not bulky. The material is a bit stiff but that will probably soften as I use it more. Purchased it with the intention of using it for school. The only complaint I have so far is that the water bottle pocket on the side is almost unusable because it is so small. Fitting a Rockstar can in it is a tight fit, so anything larger in diameter is impossible. I would recommend they add some elastic to one of the points where the pocket connects to allow for it to expand to fit larger bottles. (I may end up cutting it and doing it myself in the meantime if this becomes an issue for me) I will update this review later on after using the backpack for a while.

Delivered as expected. After unpacking I had to give the backpack time to reexpand. There is plenty of space, however the pockets and mesh pockets in the outer compartments dont close, so if you have small objects in them, they will fall out if the bag is sideways or inverted. The zippers are solid and the straps are comfortable.

Be careful when opening the area with the USB charging cord on the inside, theres a small zipper opening where the cord is and theres some foam insulation between the outer and inner backpack lining. The usb cord is not packed inside this, if you pull out the foam insulation (like I did) its a pain to stuff it back inside. Try to get the cord out without pulling out the insulation.

Bag looks more compact than i thought it was yet will hold quite a lot of goods. I could use this for a weeks travel without a sweat, knowing that my precious laptop and tablet are safe.
