> 24 hourThis is an amazing bag for commuting, whether by train or bike, and any walking in between. It fits my Macbook Pro, with plenty of space for my iPad, Switch, chargers/cords, headphones, notebooks, planner, pens, as well as my wallet, snacks, any other items I need for the day. I could use it as a weekend bag, would fit 2-3 days of clothes, but this is not what I wanted it for. This bag is extremely secure, which is exciting if you are on trains, in crowds, or on a bike while getting to work. Your items will stay well protected, from people and the elements. It can be secured to fit your body with a low profile, and not slide while on on a bike. It feels like it will be easy to clean and touch up, but Ill report back if thats not the case. The side pockets fit large water bottles (1 L, CamelBak bottles, etc.), and I appreciate there being two pockets for them. I like having my water bottle plus tea or another beverage. It can be hard to find water bottle slots that are big and secure enough for larger size bottles. Theres enough separate places for small items, wallet, etc. and I think the charger is a fantastic feature. Fully loaded, its comfortable to wear and easy to adjust. It is sturdy and made well, fits a lot, yet is remarkably not bulky. The fact I can wear it as a backpack or hold like a briefcase is nice. Overall, I really like how this looks and its function is exactly what I needed.

> 24 hourThe only thing I dont feel live up to the rest of the bag are the straps. I dont know, it almost feels like they were sourced from a different supplier. Everything else about the bag is quite handsome. I look forward to using it for quite a while in NYC. It doesnt get dirty easily, and it feels like a great subway commuter bag. I would like to see better strapping on the next version - think about it this way: Nice bag? probably a nice laptop and iPad in there, maybe a wallet and phone too. And along comes some jerk thief and snatches it away from you and the straps break. Iw ant heavy-duty straps for a travel bag that holds my goods. Thats a necessity living in a large city where people rob others.

> 24 hourMy next plane trip is still a few months away, but I did try out this backpack to see how well my laptop fits. It fit perfectly in the inner pocket with a reasonable amount of space for different sized laptops, and theres a velcro strap to prevent it from slipping out and shifting about. Theres a lot of material between the outside of the bag and the bottom of the laptop pouch, but I would probably still be overly cautious and stuff a folded-up hand towel in the bottom. The top zips shut, rolls up, and buckles quickly and securely. The reverse is also quick, but the magnetically attached buckles still resist unintentional opening like they should. The exterior is very sleek, and I ran some water over the corner to verify that its water resistant. There are lots of pockets, one of which is for a power bank so that you can charge an electronic device by plugging it into the backpack. It tried it out and it worked with my smartphone. The shoulder straps feel comfortable. I think its a very nice laptop bag.

> 24 hourBeen wanting to get a bigger backpack for my laptop . This expands really nicely to fit my computer and some extra clothes for when I’m traveling to worksites. The side zipper makes it easy to reach stuff at the bottom of the bag without having to take everything out of it.

> 24 hourAfter searching for a multi-use backpack for a long time I finally decided to give this one a try. I love everything about this backpack. So many useful spaces and the quality is better than many other known brands out there in the market. I highly recommend for those that are on the go looking for stylish and functional backpack for everyday use. You wont regret it. I wish there were other color options

> 24 hourThis backpack is perfect for my needs! I havent tested if it is fully waterproof, but it is definitely very water resistant - you can feel the exterior is slick and that water will roll off. Its super sleek looking so I can use it daily for work to hold my laptop, planner, lunch, and other items. Its perfect for travel as well with the small zip pocket on the shoulder strap and the hidden security pocket at your back perfect for a passport, and of course the strap so you can hook it onto the handle of your rolling carry on. The straps are comfortable and I think it kind of puts the weight higher on your back then regular backpacks which makes it more comfortable. I like the three main compartment design as well. I put laptop and charger plus folders in the first compartment, planner and pencil case plus anything else in the middle compartment, and lunch in the outermost compartment. The small organization pockets are well distributed as well. The smallest pocket on the top of the bag is where I put my work bagel and keys that I use daily. 10/10 great quality with all the features I wanted and a sleek and minimal design that is very water resistant!

> 24 hourWaterproof side appears acceptable, but pocket/compartment distribution is poor and far from satisfactory.

> 24 hourThe Mark Ryden Rolltop backpack has been an amazing addition to my daily routine. The backpack is not only aesthetically catching to the eye, but its also highly functional. But Ill be completely transparent with you, I also feel like a million bucks wearing this thing because of how beautiful, classy and elegant it is. The color, texture and feel of the bag can be described as a deep rich shiny reflective matte black The laptop compartment is well-padded and raised off the bottom of the bag for extra protection. The roll-top design provides plenty of storage space and the buckle style closure at the top keeps everything securely in place. The exterior material is sleek and weather-resistant, making it a great option for outdoor activities, which leaves me more confident if I get some light rain or I am out in thw wilderness exploring. The USB charging port is a nice touch, and the backpack has plenty of pockets to fit all of my essentials. I really appreciate the side zipper that allows me to easily access items at the bottom of the bag without having to unpack everything. The backpack is also comfortable to wear, with well-padded straps that make it easy to carry even when fully loaded.

> 24 hourThis backpack is definitely well designed, but it is not that well built, especially not well built enough to be worth $66 during the time of this review. For the most part, the amount of pockets advertised is accurate, but what was not accurate is that the big side zipper to access the main compartment can not actually access the laptop because the laptop sleeve is sewn onto the back of the backpack which means that to access your laptop you would need to open the main roll up top and pull it out (picture of this included). As for all the velcro that has been sewn about the backpack, those feel a bit poorly sewn on such that I am scared it would eventually tear or rip after a few years of usage. The bag itself is very tall and thin which means that it will fall front/back easily. I have tried adding a cardboard to the bottom and when its filled it is able to sit up, but tilts forward. The addition of the usb side charging access is neat but it wont support fast charge devices, so that will not be used by me. The part where this bag shine is the amount of stuff it can carry because of the roll up top. I can comfortably fit a week worth of clothing in here for a getaway. The comfortableness of the bag falls off when you look at the back part of the backpack. For something that is advertise as hiking there is no chest or waist strap. There is very little to no cushion or breathing room on the straps and the back part such that you will constantly feel you laptop pushing on your back if you are carrying a lot of items. All in all, I would classify this bag as a fashion bag because of where it falls off in utility, efficiency, and comfortably. This is very difficult to recommend at $66 during time of review so I will give it 3 stars. At between $20 to $30 I can recommend this as a fashion bag to add to your style/collection; but as your main bag, you can get something that would feel way better.
