The author shows much wisdom as he counsels the fictional couple, Owen and Norah, whose marriage is the subject of the book. It is a must read for young pastors looking to hone their counseling techniques. Couples who have hit a wall will find the book to be a refreshing roadmap to rediscovering why they married in the first place. In addition, the author accurately handles the Word in his examples. I could have used the book for my quiet time.

This is a great message of hope for every Christian Couple who is struggling in marriage. There are some basic things that Dr Skipper puts forth that can help any couple that is struggling to first serve God and repair the marriage as they get in tune with what God has for them to be doing in this world. I highly recommend this easy to read story of Owen and Norah.

If youre reading this you must be interested in marriage being the best it can be. What a great place to start. Well written and easy to read this book uses biblical principles, directly from scripture, to establish a Christian foundation for a successful and loving marriage. Light and funny at all the right times, but still very penetrating and thought provoking. Made me want to be a better husband for the love that Jesus Christ has shown to me. I highly recommend this book as a very worthwhile read. Loved the Kindle edition.
