Attempting to get insights regarding new zincs without copper stub - assumed to provide better or solid anode surface contact for anode protection. All old zincs I notice had the copper stub. None of these Amazon zincs have it. See picture for comparison. Curious. Will monitor anode performance over time and adjust all ratings accordingly.

Yesterday I was delivered an empty amazon box with the end broken out and nothing in it. It doesnt look like someone stole them, just that the box wasnt strong enough and it fell apart. Obviously the zincs dont work at all, since they arent on my boat.

Initially, I ordered these because they were less expensive than similar zincs available locally. What I did not expect, however, was such quick shipping and such a quality zinc. Seriously, it might sound funny to describe a sacrificial anode as really nice, but these look better than others, have a nice feel to them and I am sure they will more than pay for themselves.
