So, I bought this because my cat was snuggling up against the register throughout the cold winter months and at times she was a little too toasty. I didnt want her to get too burned. And I had already made a makeshift cat bed out of a cardboard lid, some felt my mom gave me and a blanket. So, I just sandwiched this between the felt and the blanket to add a little bit of warmth to her bed and...she loves it. Sleeps in there all the time now. And it doesnt get hot enough to burn her, so, its all good. Shes a happy cat.

Our older cat loves the added warmth this kitty heating pad provides. It doesnt get extremely warm but seems to be just enough. Its like a electric heating pad with a thin fuzzy cover. The cord has extra tough insulation to protect against shock, but of course if your pet is an insistent chewer no electric product may be safe. I love that the cover has gone through the sanitize cycle of the washer and then the dryer very well.

This heating pad is everything they say. It maintains a perfect temperature for the animals and we live in snow country. I have it inside our dogs crate, under the cushion and the warmth is perfect. I was so pleased with the first heating pad I purchased I bought a second one for our dogs crate out in my husbands shop. Our dog goes in there for her naps or when she has decided he is making too much noise with his woodworking.

I had a stray cat that was so friendly I just hated to see him outside in the cold. I made him a bed with this heating pad and he immediately moved into it. I have since found him a nice warm home but this just may have been a life safer for a little while. It worked so well he spent much of his days and nights in there . Thank you

Our twenty-two year old cat, Lily has claimed the center cushion of the couch as her own. I placed the wonderful pet warming pad on an added cushion, covered it with a folded towel and Lily immediately made it her home. As it keeps her just warm enough, it helps her creaky old bones to stay a little looser. Because of the perfect temperature for animals it can be plugged in and safely left around the clock. She is a very spoiled and contented cat.

Have this out in my cat house. Fits great in one of the round kitty beds. Ive had it on consistently what with the colder weather and it stays nice and warm without overheating. Right now I have my momma cat sitting in it and some kitty always is as it keeps them nice and warm. Very pleased, paws up.

The cord has a tough, supposedly chew proof covering which thankfully my little pup hasn’t tried yet! There is no temperature control, you just plug it in and it’s on. The temperature is warm enough that if I put it under her thick sherpa style blanket it still is warm enough to keep her from shivering on the coldest days. Overall I’d recommend! It’s still going after several months of use.

Miss Twyla loved to sleep behind my knees. Im a side-sleeper, and every night she would curl up for warmth in the triangle right behind my bent knees in bed. It was cute and endearing, and I honestly loved having her cuddle with me like that -- until I needed to roll over in the middle of the night. Rolling over should be something that just happens when youre sleeping. You just do it. You dont wake up. But with a 12 pound kitty behind your knees, it becomes a challenge. Id have to wake completely up, pull my knees up to my chest, roll over, then slide my legs back down on the other side of the cat, and then wait to go back to sleep again. Three or four times a night. For several years, I almost never woke up refreshed in the morning thanks to the lack of uninterrupted sleep. This heating pad changed that! When I received the pad, I placed it on the bed next to me, level with my shoulders. I turned it on, let it warm up, the enticed Miss Kitty to stand on it. Oh my! Her expression seemed to say when she felt the warmth under her paws. Me like! Kneading, then laying down, then happy, happy purring! Since I purchased this pad, Twyla has only slept behind my knees once, and after a gentle nudge she quickly returned to her new warm spot on the pad. I sleep without cat-related interruptions now, and am feeling much better rested in the mornings. I wish I had thought of this years ago! It has definitely improved the quality of my sleep and Twyla is very happy to have a new, warmer place to sleep on at night. The chew-proof cord and the washable pad cover a nice features. And while I give this 5-stars overall, it would be nice if there were a timer so I could tell it when to heat and when to stay off. Other than that, it is a great product.
