> 3 dayThough I bought this backpack for international travel thinking it would open flat like a suitcase and allow me to carry more than a typical backpack, I did a trial run domestically this month. The backpack is comfortable even when loaded and it does hold more items as I had hoped. It has a number of pockets that help with organization. I am, however, terribly disappointed in the mesh side pockets which are almost too small for a 16oz plastic water bottle and definitely wont hold a travel bottle that you could refill. I even had trouble getting my mini umbrella in!! In our current day, I think all backpacks should have external mesh pockets with the ability to easily hold at least a 24 oz water bottle for travel and a standard travel umbrella.

> 3 dayThis bag had the two main things I was looking for, a strap so it could be looped onto rolling luggage and an external water bottle holder. Within 2 months of using the bag, the netting that the water bottle holder is made of ripped and now one of the two features this bag was bought for is useless. Disappointed.

> 3 dayThis bag is great--it has lots of room and is perfect if youre looking to travel on a discount airline without paying for a carry-on. Miraculously, it fits into the personal item bag sizers, although not without a lot of effort if the bag is jammed full of stuff (ask me how I know). The quality is good--the bag feels a little thin, but thats a good thing, because less bag means more room for your stuff, and its ability to squish is what makes it fit into those bag sizers. The zippers seem to be good quality, and the bag should last for awhile. Its heavy when packed full, but its comfortable, and I actually prefer carrying a backpack to dragging a roller bag behind me.

> 3 dayThe only thing I didnt love about this bag was that there is no chest buckle or hip strap. This made it uncomfortable to carry through the airport while also wheeling other luggage. I realize that a hip strap is a lot to ask of a backpack this size, but I think a chest strap would make a big difference and other models by this company have one. However you can fit a lot of stuff into it (which makes it heavy, which is why you need a chest buckle) and it does fit under an airplane seat.

Greater than one weekIve tried many travel backpacks. None are perfect. This one is no exception. Pros * Relative value for money * Flexible compartments * Main compartment opens fully * Decent size Cons * No sternum strap * Horrible (afterthought) water bottle holder * Almost no structure (will not stand up on its own) * No name zippers * Unpadded laptop sleeve There you have it. Short on money..., not a bad choice. Have a few more bucks, Tomtoc is a better choice in affordable travel backpacks.
