> 24 hourYou can probably get away with using it as a person item on most airlines. However, technically it is too big for some. For example, I went to the Air Canada counter in ATL, and tried to put it in their basket to check the size. It wont eve come close to fitting. Have you ever boarded a plane late, and all of the overhead bins are full? This is why.
