The color is lighter in person, but that was a good thing for me. the compact is also durable. My toddler threw it on the hard floor and nothing broke.

Im 36 and my skin is pale with a pink undertone (its naturally thin due to a collagen deficiency). I ordered this powder in Porcelain and its perfect. When it comes to make-up and my skin in general, I am a less is more kinda girl. I dont even wear base. The only make-up I want people to see is whatever I use for my eyes. I needed to replace my concealer stick and was excited to find this Better Skin line. I pull the blankets up and kinda bury my face in them when Im sleeping which causes blemishes on my chin. I bought the Better Skin Concealer in Ivory (available here on Amazon for $8 or $9) and this Better Skin Powder in Porcelain. Using them together (along with a small amt of green color corrector to balance my tone in my photo) makes my skin look soft and natural. Ive used them together 4 or 5 times now over the course of about 6 weeks to test out the validity of the better skin claim. It seems to make a difference for me. My skin clears up when I use these 2 products as opposed to my regular concealer. If I dont use it for a couple days, the little surface blemishes come back. If I use it again, they clear up. Granted, I dont have acne or bad skin in general. Never have. Its not like my Better Skin team has a lot of work to do. But I also dont take care of my skin like I should... or at all really. I did notice that if I dont wash the Better Skin products off before bed (and admittedly all the next day bc Im lazy), it dries out my skin. My regular concealer doesnt do that. Overall, for me, these items get 2 thumbs up. They match my skin tone, feel and look natural, last all day, and seem to help with the chin blemishes that I get from snuggling down into my blanket. Maybe its coincidence. Maybe its Maybelline. (see what I did there?)

Porcelain color is darker than all other porcelain products I’ve used. I almost feel like they use that description just for the sake of sales. I can’t use this alone because it’s very obvious on my genuine-porcelain-color skin. But I do use this over active acne spots and then use my Porcelain Fit Me loose powder over it, & then use Fit Me everywhere else on my face. I do feel like using salicylic acid over active acne is much safer than regular powder, so I’m grateful to have something to use at all. However, I do wish the color was what porcelain should be. This is nowhere as light as the Fit Me porcelain even though they’re both Maybelline products. That’s too bad. Idk if I will repurchase, but for now I am using it.

This is the first time I tried this makeup. I usually only use face powder over my facial lotion for daily use. Just to take the shine off. I like that it has salicylic acid in it to fight acne. I am pretty fair complected (as in, I will get sunburned to a crisp if Im outside in the summer without sunscreen for more than 10 minutes), and I ordered the porcelain color. It matches great, and gives a smooth finished look to my face. Pretty happy with this powder so far. Would order again.

This is the only powder that doesnt break out my skin and I always get compliments when wearing this. Better than pricey powders and so much cheaper. Worth it!

Whats with all these Vine Voice reviews? Heres an unbiased review from someone that paid for the product. Ever since Maybelline discontinued their Pure Stay line of make-up 2 years ago, I had been left to try to find a replacement. Ive gone from other drugstore brands (Cover Girl, Revlon, Rimmel) to high end department store brands (Shishedo, MAC, Clinique) and nothing provided the right combination of a lightweight power foundation with good coverage that wasnt also cakey. Maybelline themselves had recommended their replacement product FitMe, but that was a complete joke. The regular version provided no coverage and the matte version was cakey. So for the past year+ (after I ran out of my stockpile of PureStay), I have spent a LOT of $$$ trying to find the holy grail of makeup. Then comes Maybellines new Superstay Better Skin powder foundation...and Im in love. After another failed foundation I tried, I looked for my next round of attempts and saw this. OMG, this is the one!! Ive found my Neo!! Im not sure what better skin formulation they are talking about - I have not noticed any change to my skin in the 2 weeks Ive used the product. However, this provides the best combination of coverage and convenience in a power foundation. It also blends very well with my skin and does not appear cakey. Ive probably spent hundreds of dollars looking for the perfect powder foundation and Ive found it in this affordable compact.

Great coverage! I got it in porcelain color, witch is the lightest one and it is the perfect one for any fair skin bc it doesn’t have any orange or yellow or pink in it - it’s just naturally neutral and blends great in the skin making it look so clean!
