I loved the large assortment you get for the price. The bamboo ones feel soft and warm in your hand and the metal ones are also comfortable and good for rougher yarns. (I have been using the metal ones for jute twine projects and the material slides well on these.)

Ive always been fine with just some basic metal and plastic hooks, but my boyfriend loves ergonomic things, so I figured Id get him some nice hooks for Valentines day since he was beginning to crochet. Well, they are AMAZING!!! I cannot describe how freaking awesome these hooks are. I borrow them all the time and use his stitch markers (whereas before I was using a paperclip) and theyre just so much more comfortable than normal hooks. Makes it hard to go back to my hooks when hes not around, honestly. Do yourself a favor and get these.
