Greater than one weekExcellent wire. First time wiring up a 7.1 Surround sound system behind walls under floor and back over. 12 guage wire is nice and thick and worked perfect for my Klipsch R-5502 W II Speakers. Very Satisfied.

> 3 dayDidnt actually measure it, but it looks like it is actually 12 AWG. It is marked every two feet. The price is great for what you actually get.

> 3 dayI went to Lowes to buy 14/2 speaker wire. What I got was a clear wire covering the wire. One wire was copper and the other one was silver of some kind of metal. Once it was cut, it was mine for $39. What a gype! I knew better and I still messed up. I immediately went home and got onto Amazon and found that Mediabridge had speaker cable with a red covering for the hot line and a black line for the ?ground? with a white insulating cover over the wires. That is the kind of wire I have used for over 40 years. There is one flaw. I ordered and received 14/2 speaker wire, but it is described here as 12AWG 2-Conductor Speaker Wire. I am a little confused on that. I hope I didnt get charged at a higher rate due to the error. Please let me know what happened

> 3 dayVery good speaker wire, but very heavy. If youre pulling a big bundle of it, get ready to be lifting some weight. Id have gotten a thinner gauge had I known. In any case, it worked great for my application (eight feeds about 40 feet back to an AV closet), albeit probably overkill. 14AWG probably would have been just fine.
