I have used COUNTLESS banana plugs through the years for my Marantz SR8002 and Axiom speakers. Only these have been the most solid connection, where you couldnt even pull out with brute force! Add that to solid fits in the binding posts, a good look, and best of all the cheapest price compared to other INFERIOR products I have used. PS, I used these with Mediabridge 14 Ga speaker wire tool, another best I have tried product. I love this company!

I used these with high end 12 gauge speaker wire. The cable fit them perfectly!! The plugs fit snugly into my Focal Speakers and I couldnt be happier.

Previously, purchased expensive speaker cables with banana plug connectors attached. I did not know the ease of attaching the plugs to the cables myself. A loosened connection had me return the more expensive cables. Later, I purchased a highly rated 12 guage speaker and, separately, these banana plugs. Easy to attach, quality material, well constructed. Highly recommend.

These are good quality, nice and tight. Ive got some banana plugs from Home Depot and while theyre good, the open screw type is a little tricky. Since it has a hole the back it seems like the wire should go through there but its supposed to just get crimped into the side hole. I made it work going through back, bending and clamping onto the wire. Kind of a pain, and some wire sticks out the other side. I was fairly certain that theres got to be a better design for banana plugs. Then I found these. Now this is what Im talking about. Push the wire through the hole, fold it over and screw the two halves back together. Simple! You only need to strip about a ¼ of insulation. AND, they hold the wire very tightly. No fear of the wire pulling out. The Mediabridge banana plugs fit tighter in the binding posts than the store bought ones, so unplugging them is a bit more difficult. To me that just screams Good Connection!, plus I dont plan on unplugging them very often. When I was trying different speaker configurations, it was nice not to have to pull with too much force when I wanted to quickly switch speakers. Now that Im all set up, these will work fine. They will stay put and I will probably never unplug them again until I need to replace my receiver. Were these absolutely necessary, no the speaker wires were already screwed in but they make a really good connection as well as give the receiver a nice clean look in the back.

These plugs are easy to install and work well. No reason to spend more on anything else.
