I really wanted to like this cable I have a blue jean cable with calride connectors about 7 feet long wanted to move the Sub across the room but this cable has a hum even though I have a mid range HT system a marantz SR 6006 unit a Polk audio Sub woofer. So I have decided to return the cable . The Blue jean cable was reconnected and it does not have a hum

The stapler came in its own vacuum molded carrying case which was just put in a corrugated shipping box and left to bounce around, wasnt a big concern since the tool should take a little rough handling. Also perhaps I missed it in the item description but I didnt see where it said it came in carrying case.

Mediabridge products are an insanely great value. This subwoofer cable is on par with any Monster sold at a much higher price point. Shielding is excellent, and my subwoofer is performing like a champ. Highly recommended - looking forward to exploring other Mediabridge products, including their routers. Highly recommended.
