Greater than one weekAnd sometimes it doesnt. I recently routed a run of subwoofer cable out the back of my house, and to the other side of the house via a 40 foot run of buried PVC electrical tubing. I did this because I could not run it through the attic, and did not want any cable visible. I have two powerful subwoofers behind the viewing position for my home theater. In the middle of the night, with the amp and TV off, the subwoofer would start to hum. The volume would increase. The house, indeed the neighborhood, would rumble. It turned out the subwoofer cable was picking up electromagnetic waves from other sources, like an large array antenna, and amplifying them. The reason was because the cable was not shielded. Or not sufficiently shielded. I removed the plausible causes, such as ground loop, or feedback from cable TV. Nothing worked. I asked for help from folks who fix these problems for a living. An expert in the field told me scrap all my old cable, and recommended Mediabridge Ultra cable. I tried it; replaced all buried cable and so far, no problem. In order to avoid any possibility of malfunction of a subwoofer, it pays to use high quality cable, especially if the run is over four feet...

> 3 dayAbsolutely love Mediabridge products! Never had a single problem with anything Ive purchased from them. I have this cable hooked to my Klipsch 12 powered sub onto an Onkyo A-9050 Amp. Fits nice and tight on both and does exactly what it is supposed to do, WORK!!

> 3 dayI needed two cables to connect my receiver to the newly bought Velodyne subwoofer. After having read some reviews about various products, I decided to purchase my cables from Mediabridge. Even though there were some unfavorable reviews by previous purchasers, the product looked solid on the picture compared to same products from other companies, so I decided to give it a try. Once I received the cables, I effortlessly connected them to my receiver (Yamaha) and my sub and Id been a happy music listener since then. Quality product. In real life the cables are even more solid than they seem on the picture. I havent experienced any of the problems that people who rated this product as 1 or 2 starts had. I would recommend Mediabridge cables.
