> 24 hourFirst time using a steel mandrel. Works so much better than the plastic ones as you can use a hammer to harden the wire to make the rings stronger. I really liked the shape and heft of this one and markings are easy to read. This was shipped quickly. Thanks!

> 24 hourVery happy with this mandrel. It took me a while to finally pick one. This one is rounded on all sides which makes bending shanks on it much easier. I would rate it five stars if I felt that the numbers and markings would actually stick around. I anticipate them fading fairly quickly though.

> 24 hourThis works very well and is accurate when I compare it to my other gauges. I have not had issues with it marring metal surfaces. It is nice and heavy and well made.

> 24 hourI bought this to size rings to sell. I have been looking for, quite awhile, a good professional quality stainless steel. I’m very happy with this purchase. I couldn’t bring myself to buy the cheap made in China version of this. The reviews also deterred me in terms of accuracy. This is made in India. I was hoping for a product made in the USA to support our local businesses but I did not find one. Nevertheless, this is a great quality item. It is worth paying a little bit more for a stainless steel product.

> 24 hourNice size, very heavy, made well. I used it to tap out a ring i needed to be bigger and it worked perfectly.

> 24 hourGouge in metal between 7-1/4” & 7-1/2”. Longer shaved area between about 5-1/4” - 8-1/4 “ just right of the measurement markers (hard to see in photos). Also very lightly indented circular marks around the side opposite the measurement lines. These are not matched to the measurement lines but rather kind of like a corkscrew going at an angle. VERY POOR QUALITY CONTROL.
