> 24 hourA fantastic purchase. I paired it with Mehron stage blood and the entire family looked like we had been in a car accident. Scared the pants off people in New Orleans, and didn’t sweat off. Barely budged in the rain—infact—made it look more realistic than it already did. Washes off incredibly easily. I’ve even paired this with the cherry red eyeshadows that are trending right now, and came out aces every time. Big win.

> 24 hourUsed this in a show for a quick change into a black eye. Went on smoothly. Was easy to apply quickly for a realistic but visible to the audience black eye. Came off just as easily for the quick change out of the black eye.

> 24 hourThis bruise wheel is great for basic sfx makeup use or for a Halloween costume. I bought this to do sfx makeup for a friends short film, and so far Ive had a great experience with it. The color applies smooth and blends well; the payoff could be a little bit stronger, but overall its really easy to layer the color to make it more opaque. Because these colors are cream based, they do smear a bit, and the staying power isnt the best. I recommend setting with either Mehron Colorstay powder or some regular translucent powder (e.l.f. makes a great one.) Before you use this product, you might want to wipe down the area youre applying it to with some rubbing alcohol or non-oil based makeup remover, as Ive noticed that having oils on your skin beforehand can cause the product to smear a bit. My only slight tick is that the cream color base can seem, at times, to sit on top of the skin, which can ruin the realistic effect youre going for, but with enough blending, thin layers, and a dusting of powder, this isnt a huge issue. If youre really worried about full realism, look into alcohol-activated dry pigments. Overall, Im very pleased with this product. Ive used other bruise wheels before and various other cream based makeups and this has some of the best color payoff and smoothest formula Ive seen so far. Works great when applied with a dry makeup sponge or brushes. This is the perfect product if youre looking for something a little easier to use than Ben Nyes bruise wheel or if youre staring a basic sfx makeup kit; for heavy-duty makeup, like for a theater production or prolonged photoshoot, I would recommend an alcohol-activated bruise palette. Still, this wheel great product to have on hand.

> 24 hourI purchased this for my 12 year old daughter along with Liquid Latex. She wanted to learn how to make scars for halloween and this, along with the latex is what she wanted to begin creating scars with. She watched some videos in how to begin. She tried this product for the first time and seems happy with it although now said she needs to get fake looking blood now. The shipping was as expected and arrived on day it was supposed to.

> 24 hourThere were a bunch of pallets on amazon that looked just like this one. However this was the one with the most positive reviews so i figured id give it a try. Well, in my mind i assumed it would be similar to face paint and be quite difficult to blend out. However, i was surprisingly happy to see that the colors are highly pigmented, and go on really well. They also blend really well so you can create realistic looking bruises. The colors are also all pretty nice for bruises! My favorite color was the green, because it gave off this gnarly zombie-bruise look. Definitely a must have for anyone looking to do some special FX makeup!

> 24 hourI’ve used Mehron products for halloween makeup before, and I really do like this brand. I used this bruise kit for a halloween costume this year, and I love it!! I had prosthetic cut-off horns on my forehead and wanted it to look more real like they were actually protruding from my head. The colors blend so easily onto natural skin and liquid latex! I used a porous sponge that I tore up and just lightly stippled various colors around the horns. I started with yellow, then added a little tiny bit of green, then used the red and brown color mixed together and topped it off with a little stage blood. It lasted all night!!

> 24 hourLove that the texture is easy to blend and work with, I have another little palette of similar colours and they’re a little more in the sticky side. Anyway I have to use this for my costume for work and it works perfectly!

> 24 hourIt’s a bit oily and easy to smear ( which is great for blending but hard to keep intact) so it’s best to just add some good setting powder on top
