11-06-2025I only use mehron products for sfx work and this is one of my absolute favorite wheels. Its easy to apply, easy to take off, and offers every color needed for realistic bruises. People usually think theyre real! Its not bad for beginners either as long as you look up bruise healing stages to make sure your colors are accurate for the bruise youre trying to replicate. Its also inexpensive for the quality.

> 3 dayThis creme makeup is so easy to use to create bruises, sores, burns, and more. Im an SFX makeup newbie, but was able to do a lot with this palette, and a little bit goes a long way. Youre gonna need sponges and stipple pads and brushes, but otherwise this wheel covers a lot of bases.

> 3 dayThere were a bunch of pallets on amazon that looked just like this one. However this was the one with the most positive reviews so i figured id give it a try. Well, in my mind i assumed it would be similar to face paint and be quite difficult to blend out. However, i was surprisingly happy to see that the colors are highly pigmented, and go on really well. They also blend really well so you can create realistic looking bruises. The colors are also all pretty nice for bruises! My favorite color was the green, because it gave off this gnarly zombie-bruise look. Definitely a must have for anyone looking to do some special FX makeup!

> 3 dayBruise wheel is a staple in any professional face painting or special fx makeup kit. Many companies make a bruise wheel, injury wheel or bruise stack, but I have not found one comparable with Mehrons. While I am a fan of almost all their products, Bruise Wheel is by far my favorite. The cream based makeup is soft, silky and very highly pigmented. A little tap of your finger into the makeup pot is all you need to rub into the skin for a realistic bruising effect. It blends beautifully, and the colors meld together exactly the way I need them to. I have found that the makeup in other cream based bruise wheels and bruise stacks seems to be much firmer and harder, making it harder to apply and blend. Mehron Bruise Wheel has been my go-to bruise simulation makeup for nearly a decade.

> 3 dayI was able to get a nice burn effect with this and some liquid latex and makeup sponges :) I found it comes off easier with micellar water than makeup wipes. Youll either need to let it dry for a while or set it with some translucent powder to make sure it doesnt smear when touched, but overall very pleased with this purchase!

> 3 daySaw someone recommend this palette in a YouTube video and decided to order it and try. I have never done makeup before but this was so easy to use, covers really great and had the perfect colors to make a creepy makeup with! Can’t wait for next Halloween!

> 3 dayColors are spot on for realistic looking bruises. You can make fresh looking bruises or ones that look a week old.

> 3 dayGreat cream paints with great coverage. The only issue I had was getting it to not smear. It isn’t sweat proof. Other than that, it’s an excellent pallet and worth the money.
