Melissa & Doug Chef Puppet

Gegarious Rex
> 3 dayI wanted to have a stocking stuffer that would engage the adults at my Christmas party and this was perfect. They had a riot interacting with each other and laugh out-loud fun at the party! I still hear from them saying that the puppet is getting use in their cube at work or dorm at school. It was a big hit!

Greater than one weekMy kids love this chef! I kinda wish his mouth was a little bigger because its a little hard to make him talk. Also, the velcro on the stick came off so I had to hot glue it back together.

> 3 dayFor the price, you really cannot beat the quality of this puppet. I bought this to entertain my toddler, which is exactly what it did (after a short period of him being afraid of it). I have rather large hands, and was able to put my hand in the puppet and work it, only having to remove the red scarf to get my hand in there. My wife had no trouble whatsoever getting her hand in and was able to use it as well. So, it will accommodate large hands, but just barely.. and small and average hands should have no trouble at all. The puppet looks just like the picture, and the seams and fabric all appear to be high quality. The red scarf attaches/detaches with Velcro making it simple to take off and put on. The only suggestion I have is, if you child is under 2, do not just pop this puppet on and start talking to him with it. It might scare the heck out of him.. (yes, in my excitement I did exactly that and my poor soon backed away quickly with a frightened look on his face) Instead let your child explore it before you try to use it.

20-11-2024This is a lot of fun around the pretend kitchen. He is made of a durable cloth with attached wooden dowel to control one of the hands. I have average size adult hands and it fits just fine, but may be unable to fit a larger mans hand. My kids can control it easily. It will stand up to some rough play. As with any wooden dowel, treat it with some caution or it will snap but I have not had this happen. Overall fun choice.

> 3 dayMy brother is a chef, and owns this puppet that sits on a shelf. My 3 yo Speech Delayed Son got ahold of him, and being the total hamm he is, put on the funniest puppet show with just fluctuations of his tone of voice, various sounds and grunts, and had the entire room crying laughing so hard. So I had to come and get him his very own puppet. This guy inspires such imaginative play, that it really brings my son out of his shell. Awesome investment, in my sons happiness and growth. Shipped fast, received it on time and it is an amazing quality. I can not wait to see my sons face when he opens up his very own.
