Perfect gift for a four-year-old. Bought after he played with a medical kit a zoo and loved it. Preschool is a great age for dress up and investigating the world of treating stuffed toys. It opens up conversations and is a gateway for stories and nonfiction books to build upon knowledge. Little kids are like sponges and I highly recommend toys that foster their not only their imagination but make it easier to do things like visit the doctor. Truly a great addition to a playroom!

This playset by Melissa & Doug is so thorough theyll be ready for Harvard Medical School by the time they are 10. SEriously, this set is the real deal! It comes with everything your child needs to perform a check-up. Theyll have their own name tag which states their credentials and maybe has their medical license number, ha. A tray for their sterilized utensils like scissors, a syringe, and tweezers for all of their emergency medical needs. A stethoscope of course, bandage, ear scope, stuff to check the eyes, I mean the list goes on. I know my child loves to play pretend doctor and this set is legit. Stop wasting your money on the kits that only contain the basics. This is the real deal! The kids love it, and I love it because it distracts kids for a great deal of time and lets children use their imagination.

I always liked Melissa and Doug as they were made in the good old USA. Recently I have noticed that their quality has gone down song and things are made in China. Still very nice merchandise for the price but disappointing that they did not stay in the United States to manufacture their toys

My two year old is OBSESSED! She is giving check ups to all of her stuffed animals and dolls! We have both had the best time playing with this! The only thing that could be improved is that the pouch fits all of the “tools” perfectly... it’s kinda like a puzzle. We are trying to instill the importance of cleaning up after ourselves to our daughter and she gets so frustrated when putting all the pieces back in because it is a bit challenging to get them back in. It would be helpful if the bag was deeper.

Like most Melissa and Doug products this play set is very thoughtfully put together with elements that really make imagination play fun. Unlike most MD products that are made of wood, this set is primarily made of plastics. Nevertheless, my granddaughter loves it and it’s complete with a carry bag that is helpful in keeping all the parts in one place
